Prime Minister Receives a statue of Dr BR Ambedkar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi receives a statue of Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar from Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud at the diamond jubilee celebrations of the Supreme Court.

Attending the Supreme Court’s Diamond Jubilee festivities, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a speech. Speaking at the Supreme Court’s Diamond Jubilee Celebrations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that our country’s founders envisioned a free, equal, and just India. He continued by saying that the Supreme Court has advanced India’s democracy and individual socio-political rights while also taking a leading position in upholding the aforementioned principles. According to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, our top goal is to make the Supreme Court last mile accessible to everyone. More than Rs. 7,000 crores have been spent since 2014 on the e-Courts Project, digitization, and physical infrastructure to guarantee easy access to justice for everyone.

Amrit Kaal, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calls for the Indian legal system to be updated and aligned with international standards. He continued by saying that we have abolished colonial laws and customs in exchange for the same. We have made it possible for improvements in training and capacity building to occur in the legal, police, and investigative systems. Furthermore, we have strengthened channels like the “Alternative Dispute Resolution” mechanism and mediation law in an effort to lower the number of open cases.
