Tuesday night in Mumbai was the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2024. Numerous celebrities attended the gala awards ceremony, including Aditya Roy Kapur, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Kareena Kapoor, Vikrant Massey, Nayanthara, Shahid Kapoor, and Shah Rukh Khan.

Jawan director Atlee, Shahid Kapoor, and director duo Raj & DK were also honoured with awards for their work last year. At the event, Shah Rukh greeted Rani with a hug and a kiss. Fans, however, thought that Kareena ignored Shahid at the event.

When Jawan debuted in theaters in September, it brought in over ₹1000 crore at the global box office. Under the direction of Atlee, Shah Rukh, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Deepika Padukone, and Sanjay Dutt (in long cameo appearances) were among the cast members.
About Animal
Under the direction of Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal was one of the biggest box office successes of 2023. But it also received flak for portraying misogyny. The main actors in the movie were Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Ranbir Kapoor.
Ranbir plays Rannvijay Singh in the film Animal, which centers on a tumultuous father-son relationship. After his father is the target of an assassination attempt, Singh seeks retribution. At the box office, the movie brought in more than ₹800 crore.
