Hyundai Creta Electric
Which will be unveiled tomorrow at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, is expected to be another mass-market electric vehicle for India. The four main models of Hyundai’s upcoming electric SUV will be Executive, Smart, Premium and Excellence. Here’s a summary of all the information you need on the Creta’s all-electric design:
- The Creta Electric will be Hyundai’s most affordable EV in India to date.
- Exterior highlights include 17-inch alloy wheels with an aerodynamic shape and all-LED lighting.
- The cabin has the standard Creta-style dual-screen configuration with a dual-tone look.

Because the Hyundai Creta Electric has the same linked LED DRLs, dual-barrel LED headlights that are vertically stacked and connected LED tail lights, it looks exactly like the regular Creta. The headlights have gloss black trim and a blanked-off grille on the fascia. Below the Hyundai logo, in the centre, is the charging port.
Four retractable air vents are located further down in the lower grille. These vents are designed to improve aerodynamics and provide air intake to cool the electric motor and battery components. Other key design elements are the silver-finish skid plate at the rear and 17-inch aerodynamically engineered dual-tone alloy wheels.
Although the bumper has been redesigned, the rear of the Creta Electric remains the same as the current Creta. The taillights are also unchanged.
Apart from Ocean Blue Metallic with Black Roof and Atlas White with Black Roof, Hyundai will sell it in ten other color options including Abyss Black Pearl, Atlas White, Fiery Red Pearl, Starry Night, Ocean Blue Metallic, Ocean Blue Matte, Titan. gray matte, and strong emerald matte.
Also, Hyundai has equipped it with digital flagship features like Alcazar. Users can use their smartphone or wrist watch to unlock the vehicle.
The Creta EV’s advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS), electronic stability control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, hill hold control, six airbags, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and a blind view monitor are among its safety features.

Hyundai Creta EV cabin
The dual-tone interior of the Hyundai Creta Electric remains the same as the base model. The 3-spoke steering wheel with drive selection lever, also seen on the Hyundai Ioniq 5, is one of its distinguishing features. For the electric version, there are minimal changes to the lower part of the center console.
Some of the key features on board are dual-digital screens (one for infotainment and one for instruments), ventilated seats and 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory function. Six airbags (as standard), a 360-degree camera, ISOFIX child seat mounts and level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) are likely to be part of its safety net.
Battery pack and range specifications.
Hyundai offers two battery options for the Creta Electric: a 42 kWh pack with an ARAI-rated range of 390 km and a 51.4 kWh pack with a claimed range of 473 Km. This includes an electric motor of 135 PS with the smaller battery pack and 171 PS with the larger battery pack.
A DC fast charger can charge an EV from 10 to 80 percent in 58 minutes, but an 11 kW AC home charger takes 4 hours to charge the battery from 10 to 100 percent.
Price expectations and competitors
Hyundai Creta Electric Rs. Expected to start at Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with MG ZS EV, Mahindra BE 6, Maruti e Vitara, and Tata Curvv EV.
