- SpaceX’s big leap into space
- 46 satellites launched in 2 sets in 6 hours
- Launched for satellite internet service
Elon Musk’s space company ‘SpaceX’ has done applause-worthy work. The company launched 2 in a span of just 6 hours. In the first launch, 23 Starlink satellites were delivered to low-Earth orbit. For the second time also, 23 satellites were sent into space. This launch took place from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, USA. Satellites were launched with the help of Falcon 9 rocket.
Starlink is also a venture of Elon Musk. Under this, preparations are being made to provide satellite internet service across the world. Starlink service has started in some countries of the world including America. According to reports, the first set of 23 satellites was launched at 4:35 am today.
Exactly 8.5 minutes after launch, the first stage of the Falcon 9 rocket returned safely to Earth. He landed on SpaceX’s drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean. 10 missions have already been flown from this stage. About an hour later, SpaceX confirmed on social media that all 23 Starlink satellites had been deployed.

After that, the second launch was done at 9:39 am and the second set of 23 Starlink satellites were sent into space. Last week also the company had sent Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit. This trend is going to continue because the company aims to launch 12 thousand satellites. Currently it has launched more than 5 thousand Starlink satellites.
Recently, a report claimed that Starlink has been given permission to provide satellite broadband services in India. The company has been wanting to launch the service for Indian users for many years. Once he even started advance booking, but had to step back due to lack of government permission. Now DoT (Department of Telecommunications) is said to have reportedly given Global Mobile Personal Communication License (GMPCS) to Starlink, which is important for satellite internet.
However, even after getting this license, some regulatory approvals will be required, which Starlink will have to obtain. Only after that the company will be able to start its commercial services in the country.
