Legendary wrestler Vince McMahon left TKO Group Holdings, the parent company of WWE, on Friday. The action follows a federal complaint brought by Janel Grant, a former employee, who accused McMahon and another former executive of grave sexual misconduct.
According to Grant, McMahon, 78, forced her into a sexual connection in exchange for her employment and sent graphic pictures of her to other people, including WWE staff members.
Refusing to admit any fault, McMahon explained that he resigned out of respect for WWE. “I maintain my previous assertion that Ms. Grant’s complaint is a spiteful fabrication of events, filled with outlandish fabrications, and full of lies. According to Business Insider, he stated in the statement, “I look forward to clearing my name and intend to vigorously defend myself against these baseless accusations.”
