Fans of anime, assemble! Prepare for the arrival of wholesome and thrilling romantic releases in the spring of 2024. April is the month when new anime shows from a variety of genres will debut this year. The following is a list of upcoming romantic anime series as the winter season draws to an end:
Vampire dormitory
Based on the Japanese manga series of the same name, written and illustrated by Ema Tōyama, comes this new romantic fantasy animation that is sure to thrill audiences. Vampire Dormitory, which debuted in 2018 and was warmly embraced by viewers, was recommended for an anime adaptation. Producer Studio Blanc has set April 2024 as the release date for Vampire Dormitory.
Great lighting, studio apartment with an included angel
The release of Studio Apartment, Good Lighting, Angel Included, a manga series based on the works of author and illustrator Matoba, is scheduled for April of 2024. Casual viewing is ideal for this romantic series because it’s full with beloved clichés and endearing moments. The Okuruto Noboru studio is producing it together.
Astro Note
Astro Note, an original anime series by Telecom Animation Film, is scheduled for release in April 2024, just as Solo Leveling. With its endearing animation and humorous moments, the series will be a welcome change of pace for viewers everywhere. This romantic comedy, in contrast to the formulaic high school dramas, will center on a young chef who develops feelings for the boarding house caretaker at his new workplace.
Goal: The Yozakura Family
The upcoming romance/spy drama anime Mission: Yozakura Family is based on the Hitsuji Gondaira-written and -illustrated Japanese manga series of the same name. Since its initial serialization in the Weekly Shōnen Jump in 2019, the series has garnered a substantial fan following. Silver Link Studio is producing the television series.
Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf.
An animated romance/fantasy series, Spice and Wolf is the follow-up to the popular anime that debuted more than ten years ago. It was initially shown in 2022, coinciding with the novel’s 15th anniversary, and is based on Japanese light novels by Isuna Hasekura. Passione studio is producing Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf.
Sing Me a Love Song.
In the Girls Love genre, an upcoming anime series is called Whisper Me a Love Song. It is based on a Japanese manga that was originally serialized in 2019 and was written and illustrated by Eku Takeshima. Yokohama Animation Laboratory and CLOUDHEARTS are producing the anime, which is scheduled for premiere in April 2024. Two high school girls named Himari and Yori will be the subject of the much awaited film, which is set to release in early 2019.
Grandpa and Grandma Regain Their Youth
Grandpa and Grandma Turn Young Again is the anime adaptation of Kagiri Araido’s manga series of the same name. It is scheduled for release in April 2024. The charming anime series centers on an old couple who, after decades of marriage, unexpectedly become young. This anime, which is full of gentle and charming moments, is the ideal pick-me-up for those days when you just want to crawl up under a blanket. The production company behind it is Gekkou Studios.
Alya occasionally hides her emotions in Russian
An forthcoming romantic anime series called Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings (R) is based on the Japanese light novel series written by SunSunSun and drawn by Momoco. Roshidere is the common way to shorten the title of this oddball romantic comedy. Given that it’s a high school dramedy, the show may make or break its reputation among lovers of corny romance tropes.
